Year 8 self – study falls towards the end of each half term. With this in mind, self – study will always be a RECALL activity of the unit so far so as to better prepare them for their end of unit assessments. This will allow for students to revise for their assessment, highlight to teachers any gaps in their knowledge and help to consolidate learning to this point.
